Who We Are
RKRA was formed to organise residents for collective decision-making and action. It began around security concerns and expanded into roads, government advocacy, improved services, and civic participation.
Our Area
Redhill/Kentmere is located east of Limuru Town, within Ngecha Tigoni Location, Limuru Sub-County, Kiambu County, and Limuru Constituency, close to Nairobi and the Great Rift Valley.

The plan was created in response to rapid development, unplanned housing, environmental degradation, Vision 2030, devolution, and the Kiambu County Integrated Development Plan.

Development Proposal Portal
A secure online submission portal for prospective property developers, industrial developers, landowners, or agents seeking RKRA review of proposed developments or change-of-use applications within the Redhill/Kentmere area. Applicants can sign in, complete the RKRA Development Proposal Submission and Review Form, and prepare the supporting documents needed for RKRA review.
Environmental Conservation
Concerns include diminishing tree cover, soil and water degradation, air and noise pollution, littering, dumping, and over-exploitation of natural resources.
Limuru Highlands Zonal Spatial Plan
RKRA supports completion and implementation of this spatial plan through engagement with the County Government and County Assembly.
Infrastructure & Services
Covers roads, water supply, electricity, and engagement with providers including KPLC and private sector players.
Security
Rooted in RKRA's origins, including the Kantaria Police Post and the Kentmere Administrative Police Post initiative, reflecting the value of a safe, family-friendly environment.
Resident Employee Registry
Publicly accessible online registry for residents to submit employee onboarding, update, and termination information as part of RKRA's community security initiative. Submissions are routed to RKRA Admin, the Security Committee, and the Location Chief's office for record keeping and community security coordination.
