RKRA's values include conservation, rule of law, safe and family-friendly living, public space preservation, beautification, and controlled development.

Vision

A highland area that offers a sound balance of climatic, environmental, economic, social and ecological features, which combined makes it unique from other regions.

Mission

To restore, preserve and conserve the natural and economic resources available, maintaining and improving them, thereby giving residents, visitors and investors opportunities for productivity and recreation in a dynamic and conducive environment.

Values / Priorities

The Redhill/Kentmere Residents will strive to bring all residents of the area to buy into the following values:

  1. 1At least one tenth of the total land area will have forest cover.
  2. 2The rule of law will be applied to the letter in all situations.
  3. 3All development must be for the benefit and greater good of the entire community.
  4. 4A safe, secure and family-friendly environment.
  5. 5Advocacy for the representation of the interests of the community.
  6. 6Sound development that includes conservation, respect for, and preservation of public space.
  7. 7Beautification of public areas including roads, avenues, driveways, dams, rivers, and water sources.
  8. 8Controlled development that balances environmental, public, and private interests.
