County & National Government Collaboration Priorities

    Build structured relationships with public service stakeholders

    RKRA aims to establish relationships with relevant County and National Government stakeholders that provide public services affecting residents.

    Ensure RKRA members benefit from public services and resources

    RKRA seeks to engage government institutions to ensure that residents benefit from available public services, programmes, resources, and opportunities.

    Promote meaningful public participation

    RKRA will lobby for public participation to be taken seriously by government officials and by RKRA members.

    Represent residents in decision-making forums

    RKRA seeks participation and representation in County, Constituency, and Sub-County development forums so that Redhill/Kentmere interests are considered.

    Engage law-making and law-enforcement officials

    RKRA aims to nurture close relationships with County and National Government officials, including MCAs, chiefs, and law-enforcement officers.

    Support proper management of public resources

    RKRA seeks to ensure that resources allocated by National and County Governments are appropriately managed.

    Create a repository of relevant laws and regulations

    RKRA intends to compile and document laws, by-laws, regulations, and related documents relevant to natural resources, development, and community interests.

    Educate residents on laws, rules, and civic responsibility

    RKRA aims to inform members about laws, rules, regulations, civic responsibility, constitutional rights, and proposed public plans through newsletters, community clusters, meetings, signboards, and other channels.

    Advocate for improved roads, electricity, security, and services

    RKRA's proposed actions include lobbying KeRRA, County Government, Kenya Power, and other public agencies on road infrastructure, electricity supply, security, and service delivery.
